8 Thursdays Until Christmas ~ ABC Ornaments
Hi, Sweet Friends!
There are only 8 Thursdays Until Christmas! For some of you, this is no trouble and you never may give it a thought until this week of Christmas.
However, many of you are looking at these weeks before Christmas and making your decorations, creating gifts, and making foods to freeze, can, and give away. It is a busy time in our house from August to Christmas!
This is the 8th of 16 posts will be on making Paper Ornaments.
You will need to have a few things before you start this project.
#8 ABC & 123 Paper Ornaments
Supplies:
Brown Cardstock or similar patterned paper.
Scissors
Glue stick
String or twine
Scissors
Glue stick
String or twine
Mini-clothespins
ink pads (Cocoa & Desert Sand or Barn Red) optional
* Another idea is to make wooden blocks to glue the printed paper letters onto. Put a tiny eye hook in the top of the block and tie a 3" piece of string onto it to hang.
The inks I am using are from Close To My Heart, in Cocoa & Desert Sand.
Directions:
4. Ink the shape edges in the Desert Sand, as shown above. Or edge the shapes in Cocoa Ink for a more aged look.
5. Let the squares dry and clip a mini clothespin to the top of each shape, as shown above.
6. With a 3" long piece of twine/string, make a loop and tie at the ends.
7. Attach the loop to the mini clothes pins at the tops of each shape.
Now they are ready to hang on the Christmas Tree!
