6 Thursdays Until Christmas ~ Star Paper Ornaments

Star Paper Ornaments
Hi, Sweet Friends,

There are only 6 Thursdays Until Christmas! For some of you, this is no trouble and you never may give it a thought until this week of Christmas.

However, many of you are looking at these weeks before Christmas and making your decorations, creating gifts, and making foods to freeze, can, and give away. It is a busy time in our house from August to Christmas!
You can make your star in patterned paper, too! I used prown paper.CJD.Sign
These are the pattern and the angel cut out.

This is the 6th of 16 posts will be on making Paper Angels.

Here is the star cut out ready to fold the star.

 #6 Star Paper Ornaments
Supplies:

Copy the first photo of the stars. Save it to a file and print for the pattern. CJD.Sign
Copy/ Save and Print off this star. 1 piece of White paper to print pattern of star above.

Brown cardstock (I found this at JoAnn's  as a pack of paper)
3 pieces of Brown cardstock/heavy paper
 Scissors
 Pen
String or twine

string, this one is from JoAnn's

The inks I am using are from Close To My Heart, in Cocoa & Desert Sand.
Directions:
Please copy this drawn star pattern. My phone would not crop it in this program. Crop and Print on white paper.
1. Begin by printing & cutting out the Star shape for your ornaments. I used 4 of the stars, cutting 2 of each.
 * Try toys, trees, vintage items, or silloettes for fun ornaments.
 2. Place the pattern of the star on the brown paper or cardstock and trace out the star.
 3. Cut out the drawn stars from the brown paper. (I made 4 stars).

4. Fold the star at each point in half. Open and fold another Point in half. Do this until all the poinsts have folds down the middle. Open all the folds.
5. Use the ink pads to add color to the stars, and around the edges to highlight.
6. Cut 4 pieces of twine/string 3" long.
7. Make a hole at the top of the upper point to slide the string/twine through. Bring the two ends together at the top of the twine/string. Tie a small knot at the ends.
