Hi, Sweet Friends,
It is COLD outside! The temperature is a fridged 20 degrees out. This year was the 1 Christmas in 6 years we have not had a White Christmas.  Out in our Colorado home, it is warm and cozy, but it was an odd feeling not to have fresh snow for Christmas and only 2 inches on the ground in December. We do have a tiny bit of snow on the Northside of the house, but it's melting fast. 

Even my winter Ice Luminaries melted fast and we could not get photos. I was hoping to get more out on New Year's Eve, but, again it was too warm to freeze them. Now that it is colder, I'm going to try it again, but to avail, no snow.  So instead of putting them in the yard, I'm going to put them on the porch in the Festive Greenery Pots.

The greenery will last longer by adding a bit of water weekly.

                  Filling the empty porch pots with greenery, twisty twigs, glitter twigs, and large pine cones look lovely as Festive Greenery Pots on the porch.

Fruit Crate tipped sideways, branches lay in the bottom, add a lantern with a bit of green and a ribbon. Pop in the berries and a large pine cone for a nice Wintery decoration on the porch.

 As for much of the Eastern US, the Winter Blast is raging! The relatives have been enduring blanketing ice storms, snow and sub-freezing temperatures the past two weeks. It doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon! A huge storm is on the way from Georgia to Maine.
