Spring Is Coming! April With CJD.Sign, Hydrangeas

Hi, Sweet Friends,

It's that time of year again. Gardening time.

Since I have posted my gardens in the past 5 years, this year, I wanted to share a bit more information with you. We are starting off with my area for gardening. I am in Zone 5. Here is a helpful link where you can find your zone, in the USA, to grow your vegetables and herbs according to the USDA Hardiness Zone Map.

"*Planting dates shown for crops marked “*” are intended to be for setting plants into the garden. Seeds should be sown 40 to 60 days earlier, indoors or under glass. Seed should be covered from three to five times its diameter. Press the soil down firmly. Keep moist continuously. The above chart gives distances between rows for hand cultivation; where the garden tractor is used, the rows should be farther apart. Planting times are based on average seasonal temperatures in Spokane, WA (USDA Zone 5). Outdoor planting times should be adjusted for your USDA Zone." ~ Spokane, WA USDA
