Eyebrows - Beauty Tuesday Tutorial Video No.5
Eyebrows can be plucked, waxed, shaved, trimmed, colored, covered, and brushed on. That's a lot of stuff for such small things on our face.
My Eyebrow Routine:
Brush them
Pluck them to shape (see link My Blog Post on Eyebrows)
Add color (dark eye shadow) with a small angled brush or eyebrow pencil.
NOTE*- I found that as I passed 50, my skin was being pulled when I added eyebrow pencil. I switched to this new method 2 years ago. I like it better and my skin is thanking me. :)
As my eyebrows have thinned, this works well, washes off very easily, and causes no blemishes or bumps in the hair follicles.
I use dark eyeshadow to fill in my eyebrows. I use a small angled brush and tap in the eyeshadow. It fills up the little brush. Apply the eyeshadow to the brows with small strokes that follow the direction the hair grows. I like mine to be similar to my hair color. Play with the colors to find the one you like best. It washes off easy with soap and water. It's not drawn on like an eyebrow pencil. It doesn't leave strange lines and it looks natural. It's a plus for me!
Thanks for watching!
