Container Gardening for Small Spaces

Hi, Sweet Friends!
This year we are gardening in a Small Space in containers.
We have container gardened for many years, however, this year, we won't have any raised bed garden room.
We are again off on an adventure. We move soon and will be changing things up a bit.

At this time of year, we are busy planning and laying out what vegetables and flowers we are growing in the gardens.
This year, as I said before, we will be moving and traveling North.
We will be gardening in containers. The difference in choosing vegetable varieties will be keeping them compact and small in plant size.
We will opt for a compact plumb tomato, small dante carrots, small compact cherry tomato, bush beans, loose-leaf lettuce, spinach, micro-greens, and a variety of peppers. We will have to forgo the squash and zucchini, the beans and melons with limited space.

We have 5 half barrels, 4 large pots, and two long rectangle pots. We will have the perennial herbs in their pots, parsley, chives, cilantro, oregano, sage, rosemary, and thyme. These little pots will have to be protected from the hot Western sun, so we will keep them in part shade during the hottest part of the day.

We do keep seed every year, so we don't have to purchase new seeds this year. We will take our drip watering system and do a bit of tweaking so that all the pots will be watered.

I do hope that you will follow along and do some container gardens of your own!
Enjoy!
