Sky Events Coming In 2020 With Quadratid Meteor Shower on Jan 4th

We enjoy Sky Watching and like to get the telescope out for some, however, we also like to just sit on the porch and watch Meteor Showers.

Quadrantids start appearing with a Quadratrid Meteor Shower on January 4th. It can be seen in the USA & Canada at the best around 5am, however, 6 hours before and after could reveal many spectacular meteors; the night of the 3rd and morning of the 4th.
"At the greatest activity level, more than 100 shower members per hour will be visible. However, the Quadrantids influx is sharply peaked; six hours before and after maximum, these blue meteors appear at only a quarter their highest rates." -Space.com
