Scarves ~ What To Wear ~ video added!

Hi, Sweet Friends,

Today we are talking about Scarves.
I've always liked scarves since I was in High School.
1990 Hermes Scarf. This is the first Fashion Scarf I bought.

Scarves have been used by the working class in the form of a cotton scarf worn on the face to keep out dirt and dust
to those of fashion who use silk scarves as fashion statements. Women have worn scarves to keep their hair tamed and they have worn them, like in the comic interpretations.
This Vietnamese woman uses scarves to tie Asian conical hat on.
There are head, face, neck, hat, body, and waist scarves.

They have been worn by people of different religions.
In Jesus' time, many men and women wore scarves or shawls.
The Jewish Religion uses them for many types of ceremonies.
Scarves hide our age.

Scarves keep us warm
and they keep us cool.
They show our loyalty to favorite teams and they are also worn to show family delineation.
Sadly, gangs have even chosen scarves to show division.
But today we are talking about the Fashion Statement Scarves.

Celebrities have made the scarf a sexy fashion statement.
In the 1920's, scarves made a splash with women to keep their hair tidy,
  hold their hats on,

and as a fashion statement.
Celebrity's use scarves to hide from paparazzi!

Movies in the 1950's & 1960's had beautiful women wearing scarves on their heads as they rode along side of their male partners in convertibles.
Scarves keep the hair stylish without compromise.
Adding accessories to scarves, like this bracelet, adds interest and a bit glam.
Worn around the neck, a scar keeps one cool and also can help hide age.
In this poster, this gal is using a scarf to fashionably hold her hat on.
There are as many varieties of scarf.
Worn with a bulky sweater, this scarf gives a pop to a relaxed look.
A plain dress gets a fashionable boost from this scarf.

They have been made from animal fur to silk and have so many uses that they won't ever go out of style.
Housewives used scarves to cover their rollers when they had to go out of the house. A memory fresh from my childhood.

Scarves have never really gone out of style and I doubt they ever will.
This is a "Rosie the Riviter" outfit from WWII. The women wore scarves to cover their hair. They worked in dangerous jobs that were held by the men, before they went to war. In the factories there was machinery and tools that their hair could get caught in.
A cozy scarf completes this winter fashion.

Scarves are worn for fashion and for function.
