My Basket Case

Hi, Sweet Friends,

Today is the day that I box up all my baskets and store them in the shed. I love my baskets.
MAD Hubby calls me Basket Obsessive-Compulsive! LOL And when he accidentally breaks one, I really do cry!
I have Seasonal Baskets for Thanksgiving just like these above that I put Mums into and put at the front porch.

I have Cloth Baskets like the ones above which store bath items in the bathroom.

I have all kinds and each one has a purpose. Without them, I'm just not me. hehehehehe
I love the smell of eucalyptus in the house and this tall "Vase Basket" holds this dried eucalyptus quite nicely!
I have these next baskets in shelf and drawer slots to create a more organized space.
This awesome wire shelf basket unit is a perfect addition to any room in the house! I would have it filled up in no time!
I guess I'm a true Basket Head, Basket Case, and Basket Lover.
I have a special round basket for herb gathering.
I have a flat bread basket that I use for flat air drying my leaf herbs.
Even the stems are useful. You can make teas, give them to the chickens, or compost them.
I use this same large flat basket to dry rose petals for potpouri!
I have this long flat "Gathering Basket" that is perfect for heads of cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower.
The leaves don't get crushed and they lay nicely in this basket, too! I love Cabbge and Broccoli Greens!

I have had this "Hanging Wall Basket" hang inside and outside of the house! I love the versatility of baskets!

Hanging in our Master Bathroom & hanging out on the Front Porch with Christmas Poinsettias in the Winter.

Don't be afraid to move things around. You never know what is going to look great until you try it out!
This little round one has been used to hold soaps and bath items
and it has been upcycled to house the cord on this little lamp.
This basket is wonderful for drying herbs and flowers. The thin cane lets the air flow through it nicely.

I have baskets that house Herbs & Spices.

This heavy-duty basket works great for our weekly harvest.
I keep a smaller version of this Case Basket under my bed. It houses my writing materials and makes a handy lap desk when writing letters and addressing Christmas Cards! Love it!
😂🤣😂😁😁😁I even have a Wicker Clothes Basket that we harvest and carry fruit in.
This is the perfect basket to dry small leafy herbs like this Curly Parsley. As I fill the different baskets with drying herbs & flowers, I start to stack them. The air still flows through them and the dust doesn't hamper them.

I love the look of all my house plants dressed up in baskets!
This large oval two-handled basket below is perfect for harvested Sunflowers.
The smaller version of this basket above is great for holding Christmas Goodies!
I keep these rectangular baskets in the kitchen for all sorts of things. This one holds pot holders, though you can't see them in the photo. 😉

This open weave Wicker Basket is only used in the garden.
This is a wonderful "Egg Basket" however, at the time I collected Herbs with it. Our Sister Chicks weren't laying yet.
🧺🧺🧺
I love baskets so much that they are still in use as many organizers in the house. This photo above by Artis Beauty is beautiful and so functional! Love it!

That's it for now. I hope you can see just how versatile baskets are and that the many uses are both practical and beautiful!
