Hi, Sweet Friends,
This is my contribution to the 52 Weeks of Photos Challenge
from Dogwood Photography!
(CJD.Sign Photo Album 2019)
This first week:
| Story Telling: Self-Portrait | Take a picture that tells us who you are, without actually showing your face. |
 |
Before, CJD.Sign |
I know this should have been an easy one for me to do, but I have so many things I like to do or use to do that I could not get the photo I wanted. So, I went back to a Christmas photo of how I wanted the house to be decorated for Christmas. I simply took a photo of the house. I went into the editor and added information so that Hubby could "do the decorating" for me. I may have gone out of the box on this one, but after all the thinking, Hubby said, "THIS IS YOU!", so I used it.

|
In my shot, I used color to block and to show the motion of the Rocket Plane taking off and then flying overhead.

This 3rd week:

 |
Rurik On The Go, 6months old, CJD.Sign |
This is Rurik, my 6-month-old Service Animal. I played with the lighting (high) but it was too bright. The window light was very harsh. I added color saturation (high) that took on the darker shades of his nose, eyes, and ears. I liked this look and enhanced the photo with clarity (high) to bring out the graininess of the wall, blanket, and dog hair. I added a vignette of black around the edges to bring the focus to the subject. I cropped down to Rurik's fluffy ears. I did nothing else to the photo. I really love the way it turned out!
