Cobbler in the Crock Pot, CJD.Sign
 Ingredients:
1 boxed cake mix
1 bag frozen apples or pears or other fruit.
2 pint jars of Jam
1 stick of butter or margarine

Directions:
 1. Pour the 2 jars of jam into the bottom of the crock pot/slow cooker.
 2. Open the bag of frozen fruit and place it in a collender to thaw.
 3. When the fruit is mostly thawed, place it in the crock pot over the jam.
 4. Use a spatula to mix the fruit and jam together.
 5. Use a spatula to spread the fruit mixture in an even layer.
 6. Pour the cake mix on top and spread it evenly over the fruit mix.

7. Add the cubed butter/margarine on top of the cake mix as shown in the photo above.
8. Cover the crock pot with the lid.

9. Turn the crock pot on to HIGH for 2 Hours. Don't open the lid until timer is done.

 10. That is it. Don't open the lid until it is done to avoid loosing the heat.
Serve up warm. It is delicious! Top off with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream if you want that extra bit of deliciousness!
This is definitely a crowd pleaser!
The cake mix makes an upper crust. Hubby said he will add some oats with the next one to give it more texture.
I say, "It is perfect as it is!" So Enjoy!
