Week 2 - 52 Week Photo Challenge
Hi, Sweet Friends,
Week 2 of 52 weeks.
This 2nd week:
This year's theme is "Creativity" and to continue this theme, I'm asking you to join me on a 52 - Week Photo Challenge. This challenge is from Dogwood Photography and runs 52 weeks. After this year of photographing, you should be a better photographer according to the article. Are you up for the challenge? I am!
Take a look at Dogwood Photography's information page. This is the 4th year of the challenge and there are 3 categories for the photographs. Each week has a theme. You can find this on the website. It is down the page just a bit.
This 2nd week:
*The Rule of Thirds: This link from Wikipedia will help explain this and there is a GIF to help visualize it.
When I use the rule of thirds I keep my subject in the area of 1/3 to 2/3 ratio in the photo. The skyline or straight line in the frame is kept on one of the 3rds line in the graph. Depending on the angle of the shot, it can be very interesting.
In my shot, I used color to block and to show motion of the Rocket Plane taking off and then flying over head.
Join me in being Creative!
Enjoy!
