Week 1 of 52-Week Photo Challenge
Hi, Sweet Friends,
This year's theme is "Creativity" and to continue this theme, I'm asking you to join me on a 52 - Week Photo Challenge. This challenge is from Dogwood Photography and runs 52 weeks. After this year of photographing, you should be a better photographer according to the article. Are you up for the challenge? I am!
Take a look at Dogwood Photography's information page. This is the 4th year of the challenge and there are 3 categories for the photographs. Each week has a theme. You can find this on the website. It is down the page just a bit.
This first week:
I know this should have been an easy one for me to do, but I have so many things I like to do or use to do (being disabled), that I could not get the photo I wanted. So, I went back to a Christmas photo of how I wanted the house to be decorated for Christmas. I simply took a photo of the house. I went into editor and added information so that Hubby could "do the decorating" for me. I may have gone out of the box on this one, but after all the thinking, Hubby said, "THIS IS YOU!", so I used it.
Week 1 Storytelling: Self Portrait. I kept adding things to set up a photo as I tried to represent who I am: Wife, Mom, Grandma, photographer, helpmate, gardener, cross-stitch/seamstress, disabled with a service animal; my day does not start without prayer, and I love the sunshine on this January day!
Join me in being Creative!
Enjoy!
