National Popcorn Day!

Hi, Sweet Friends,

Today is National Popcorn Day!
Popcorn Day Activities from Popcorn.Org

Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks and I can say I have had it many ways from Movie popcorn with loads of butter to air popped and a bit of salt.

We enjoy cooking popcorn on the stovetop in a covered pan. Here is how Pioneer Woman makes it on the stove.

Popcorn (air popped is the best for this) can be strung on string and made into a garland for the Christmas Tree. The added bonus is to eat some while you string it on the tree.

Popcorn originated in Peru. Here are some fun facts about popcorn from Fact Retriever.

Popcorn is more popular in the United States of America than anywhere else in the world.

Popcorn is easy to fix with the ease of Microwaved Popcorn, but you can purchase or grow your own popcorn seeds.

The seeds can be cooked in an air popper,Nostalgia™ Electrics Pop-Cano™ Hot Air Popper
or in a conventional popcorn maker. Nostalgia™ Electrics '50s Style Stir Popper

Popcorn just smells delicious!
And we enjoy popcorn at least once a week and mostly on Friday nights in front of the big screen TV watching a movie and curled up on the couch with a blanket and large bowl of popcorn.

Enjoy,
Love and links are always appreciated!
