Hi, Sweet Friends,

Today, Friends, I'm going to take you through my makeup routine.

1. Poreless Face Primer is how I start my face routine.
I only use two pumps from the bottle for full face coverage. It feels silky going onto my face and it is feather light.
I use the e.l.f. Total Face Brush for applying the face powder and blush. I do have a smaller face brush that is flat, by e.l.f., that I use for under my eyes to help with my naturally dark rings.

2. Face powders and blush are next.
- I use the lighter, Fair/Light, face Prime and Stay Finishing Powder for the dark circles under my eyes (being very careful not to pull this delicate skin under my eyes), for the redness around my nose, down the sides of my nose, and across the tip of my nose.
- I use the Light Shadow, e.l.f. Prime and Stay Finishing Powder for the whole of my face and put it on in circular motions to avoid lines of powder or streaks. In a counter-clockwise motion, I put on the powder going towards my cheeks and around in a circle, keep this motion going as I add the powder to both cheeks, face, nose, forehead, sides of my face, chin, and finally, around my neck and down my chest a bit.

Red lipstick has been around since ancient times. Egyptians like Cleopatra also added red lip paint to their arsenal, crushing bugs to create a crimson for their lips, a fact I remember from History Class.

e.l.f. Lipstick in Posh. |
 |
I love the red color. |
 |
e.l.f. Baked Highlighter |
I like this Baked Highlighter by e.l.f. It gives a bit of shine where you want it for a special occasion. I use it on my cheekbones, at my hairline, at the corners of my eyes, and down the bridge of my nose. This product goes a long way; a little dab here and there is all you need.
 |
e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer in Sheer. |
This is e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer in Sheer. This eyelid primer keeps my eyeshadow from creasing. It keeps my shadow in place with good coverage all day long. I reapply the shadow, if needed before I go out in the evening.
 |
e.l.f. Matte Eyeshadow "Flawless" |
Eye Shadow, in these neutral shades, is a great look for all of the Seasons. I darken and lighten if needed. The nice thing about these shadows, by e.l.f., is that the directions are printed right into the powder. So by the time you lose the directions, you are already doing it the correct way.

e.l.f. Eyeliner Pencil in Black |
I like this eyeliner pencil from e.l.f. It comes with its own sharpener built into the lid. I use the black and put it on my lash line.
 |
e.l.f. Brow Pencil in Natural Brown |
The eyebrow pencil I use is Natural Brown or Black. This look, I'm wearing a brown pencil. It goes well with my hair for Summer.
 |
e.l.f. Waterproof Volume Black Mascara. |
I finish up with the Waterproof Volume Black Mascara. This mascara has good coverage and staying power. I touch it up if I go out at night with a few swipes to each eye and that's it.
 |
e.l.f. Mist and Set spray. |
e.l.f. Mist and Set works perfectly to keep my makeup in place all day. Lately, we have attended several funerals. The Mist and Set spray has helped keep my makeup from running down my face and leaving those nasty looking streak marks.
Because of the dryness of the Colorado desert, I use a lip balm or a shimmer gloss. This one by e.l.f. is a plumping gloss with a tint of color.
 |
I love the red color. |
I really like a red lipstick and e.l.f. makes one in red called "Posh" that has a nice scent of cocoa.

That's it and it takes me about 20 minutes to complete this routine. I do have a quick 5-minute routine when I am popping out to the shops.
