Dry Rib Rub ~ Friday Foods
Matt's Dry Rib Rub
Ingredients:
2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
(optional) 1 Teaspoon GOYA® Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper -garlic, oregano, black pepper and Latin spices
Directions:
1. Put all the ingredients into a large (gallon sized) zip bag, zip shut, and shake well.
2. Place ribs in bag (split ribs into two sections if they are too big for bat) and shake well.
3. Let sit for 30 minutes, while starting the grill and getting the coals to grey.
4. Place rubbed ribs on the grill.
5. Cook 10 minutes at a time, flipping over every 10 minutes for 1 hour or until done.
6. Take ribs off grill and let them rest 10 minutes on the platter.
7. Cut with sharp knife in between rib bones. Careful not to get your fingers in the way of the knife.
8. Serve with vegetables, rice, or potatoes.
