Oven BBQ Ribs ~ Friday Food Special Occasions

Hi, Sweet Friends!

This being 4th of July week, we are, of course, having Bar-B-Q! But this year we will be doing all the cooking indoors and not on the grill due to the Fire Danger and the CODE #RED & LEVEL 2 Fire Danger Ban! That's right. It has been so dry in this area of Colorado that the wildfires are striking up and burning acres and acres of land.

But that won't stop our 4th of July, Independence Day Celebration!
The Menu for today is:
Oven BBQ Ribs, Fresh & Local Corn on the Cob, Deviled Eggs, and Fresh Brewed Ice Tea! Sounds Good, Right?

 Oven BBQ Ribs:
Marinade
1 Rack of Pork Ribs
1 Cup BBQ Sauce - Mesquite
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Sesame Seed Oil
1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar

Mix all ingredients together, pour over the ribs. Put into a zip gallon bag and marinade for 1 hour.

Remove ribs from zip bag and place on Aluminium Foil. Large enough piece to cover the meat fully.

Preheat the oven to 375*F for 45minutes. Check the meat with a meat thermometer.  The thermometer should read 155*F. Baste the meat with some of the remaining bbq marinades. Return the meat, with the foil open, for another 15 to 20 minutes to brown the top.

Let the ribs rest for 20 minutes, then cut the ribs up into strips/ribs.

Serve with Corn on the Cob and
Deviled Eggs! We make fresh brewed Ice Tea with a sprig of mint!

               Happy 4th of July Celebration!
Enjoy this day in Celebration of our Beautiful Country,
The United States of America! Happy 4th of July!!
