How to Grill Asparagus ~ Friday Foods


Hi, Sweet Friends!
 
Here is how to cook asparagus on the grill. That's right! You can have delicious grilled asparagus right along with your steak or ribs!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Trim Asparagus ends. These were really good, so I just took off the dried out parts at the very ends. If the Asparagus has white tough ends, cut off all white into the green. The white is not edible and hard. The green is what you want to cook.
Wash the Asparagus before placing it on the grill to cook.
 Place the Asparagus on the cooking grate/grill crosswise so it won't fall through. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes, turning occasionally to expose all sides to the heat. Asparagus should begin to brown in spots but should not be allowed to char.

Remove from grill and serve immediately, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with salt.


Go ahead and grill your meat or ribs.

Remove the meat or ribs from the grill and let sit while you cook the Asparagus.

 The Asparagus won't take long to cook (10 to 15 minutes) and this procedure works very well.

 A delicious meal, whole 30 & Paleo compliant. We did not use any oil on the asparagus but did use a pinch of sea salt. Enjoy!
