No Bake Cookies with Silk Almond Milk- Friday Foods


 Hi Sweet Friends,
Today we are making a quick batch of "No Bake Cookies" with Silk Almond Milk for those who are lactose intolerant. These are a delicious substitute and worked great! I added the Chocolate Chips on top just for fun! I took them to our church social and came home with an empty box! These keep well, but really don't last long with chocolate lovers in the house!
 Ingredients:


  • ½ cup or 1 stick Margarine
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Almond Milk
  • 4 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • ½ cup Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 3¼ cup Quick cooking Oats
  • 2 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

  • Directions: 


     Combined stick butter, sugar, milk and cocoa powder in a large saucepan over high heat and bring to a rolling boil, and boil for 1 minute.
     Remove saucepan and stir in peanut butter, oats and vanilla extract
     Mound these by tablespoons onto wax paper or parchment paper to cool. Let cool until the cookie have set. I added chocolate chips just for fun, but they are good without them as well!
