Pumpkin ~ Vegetable of the Week Friday Foods
Hi Friends!
Pumpkins are the Vegetable of the Week and as it is December, we will be baking many pumpkin pies, canning pumpkin and freezing pumpkin for later. Pumpkin is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals.
Pumpkins are amazingly health packed gourds! That's right they are a gourd and a squash. They have a long storage ability and can be processed for canning too, if done in chunks. LINK TO INFO

These are a collection of Kim's favorites and the "Pumpkin Nutella Cookie Bars" look amazingly delicious and I can't wait to make them today!
And I just had to post this photo of them to entice you into making them too! I mean, something so dreamy has to be shared by friends, right? "WINK".
