Christmas Tree Lighting

Hi Friends!

What a wonderful night celebrated with family & friends!

We enjoyed a cold crisp evening downtown in Montrose, CO where the town Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration was held. 

The cold chill of the air was lessened by the delicious cups of Hot Chocolate & Coffee & delicious Christmas Cookies handed out for free by Pastor Rolland Kenneson & Members of Montrose Baptist Church.

Members of the Volunteers of America had delicious Apple Cider for the crowd too.

The Town Hall was decorated with lights, the Chorus sang Christmas Carols and the cheerful crowd sang along.

Then an unexpected visitor on a horse driven wagon came along. Guess Who? That's Right!

Santa Clause showed up in his Christmas Costume that Mrs. Clause had sewn especially for him! All the children were so excited to see Santa start off the Christmas Season. 

The crowd anxiously awaited the big event of the night. After a short countdown, the town Christmas Tree was lit!

The beautiful bright white Christmas lights filled the night sky.

Cheers rang out from the crowd and the night came to a close.

What a perfect night it was! Thank you for sharing it with me!
