And add vegetables (except the cabbage) to pot, cover and cook 30 minutes on medium heat.
Wash and cut Cabbage into 1/8 wedges *or 1/4 wedges for small head.
Add Cabbage to pot, cover and cook for 20 more minutes

Season with salt and pepper.

Cook until the carrots are fork tender.
 Enjoy!
 YUMMY!
I add a pinch of salt to the cabbage and pepper. That's it! Very Easy and Organic Dinner made in one pot. Or you could use a crock pot turned on early in the am and cooked all day.  *Recipe: from Allrecipes.com.

Using Fresh & Organic Vegetables really makes this dinner healthy.
New England Dinner is also called Corned Beef & Cabbage if using Corned Beef and eaten on St. Patrick's Day. St. Patrick was Irish and this is a traditional meal in Ireland.

An article from 1775 gives a recipe used in the times of The Founding Fathers of The United States of America.  The article is very cool and worth a look.

Enjoy your Boiled Dinner!
