St. Patrick's Day Crochet Shamrocks!

 DIY Crochet Shamrocks to show off your Irish on St. Patrick's Day.



Instructions from LION BRAND
Shamrocks (make 2)
With B, ch 3, 2 dc in first ch, ch 2, sl st in same ch (first petal made), *(ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st) in same ch; rep from * twice more (four petals made), ch 6, sc in 3rd ch from hook, sl st in each of rem 3 ch, sl st in same ch as petals.

Fasten off and cut yarn, leaving a long yarn tail.

 The color is off!!??

In my photos, the shamrocks don't look green. The day was sunny and cast an orange glow over the white center circle (above) and the light leaf green shamrock. The dark green shamrock almost looks black in these photos. Weird.  But they are cute in real life!
