Photo Shoot Assistant Nate Dunkle

Setting up the shoot.

It was a beautiful day and we were all in good spirits.
We had picked this spot for the Winter Gardens. It was very quiet and we had the whole place to ourselves for the photo shoot.

The clouds had rolled in and the sun was just at the right place for back-lighting. There was a gentle breeze and a slight chill so no one got uncomfortable by the weather.

The Botanical Gardens are open Dusk to Dawn every day and are located in a fenced area behind the Montrose Pavilion Center.

Nate Dunkle was a valuable asset to this shoot as he not only carried my tripod and props, but he helped Ruth with the jewelry positioning and make the scene with wardrobe and hair. (Nate, if you’re reading this, you rock! LOL! )

Ruth, a talented model, worked smoothly with direction and suggestions during the whole shoot!

As I had said before, the day was perfect and by the end of the shoot we were ready to be done. The clouds rolled in heavier and the wind picked up. We took our cue and headed out.
