DIY Creative Photo Backdrops
Here are a collection of my favorite ideas for Creative Photo Backdrops.
I enjoy photography and love to photograph family & friends. I photograph all our business jewelry and the models wearing my designer pieces. But I have been looking for more creative ideas. Here are a few.
I've also set up a Pinterest board that includes all of the backdrops features in this post
1.)Light it UP!
Drape your lights lengthwise down the window for an illuminating effect.
2.)Country Comfort
With the fabric strips you can use any number of color combinations or just a solid color mixed with multiple shades of that color.
3.)Western Woodlook
For a Rustic Photo Back drop, you can use butcher paper. If you add strips, taping the back sides together or onto poster board, it will keep longer.
4.)Billowy Curtains
Finding curtains at your local thrift shop, Salvation Army, Good Will, or Habitat For Humanity Re-Store is a great way to find a thrifty deal and have a great back drop for your photos!
There is no limit to just one color. Use burlap, denim, check, patterned curtains that will go with the style of the scene you will be creating. The ideas are limitless!
5.)Beautiful Balloons
This beautiful layout is by Holly McInnis of Confetti Prints.com
Check the party supply stores for colored balloons of all shapes and sizes! I even found character balloons for children's birthdays!
6.) A Chair & Colorful Back drop
This would be a great way to set up for a child, disabled or an elderly person. A place to sit is a great idea for those of us who need it now and again!
7.) Giant Flowers
This is a lovely idea!
8.) Outdoor Scenery
When my children were little, I use to photograph them outdoor all the time. It is a great backdrop and free!
9.) Flowers & Antiques
This is a beautiful backdrop! Love the colors and the little model is adorable!
And last, but surly not least favorite.
