Natural and Handmade Christmas 2018

Hi Sweet Friends,
The theme of this year's Christmas is Natural & Homemade.

The color theme is a mix of the natural colors and white.

Old sheet music,

brown paper packages tied up with string, raffia, and popcorn streamers are just a few of the things that will be around the tree. Stockings made of brown linen and a brown linen tree skirt will add to the Natural look of the decorations.

Christmas - The Natural Version: I have gathered some beautiful Christmas decorating ideas for you! Hope you will find them useful and inspirational. Happy Christmas decorations.

Here is a beautiful yet simple wreath. Pine, Eucalyptis, berry twigs, and some Silver Mound. Photo from BH&G. A lovely way to display a natural wreath.
Hanging greens on the mirror, harth and around the candles in the fire place brings this nice display together.
Here is a natural pinecone wreath. The hearth is draped with the greenery and flows nicely down to the coffee table arangement. The fruit and pinecones make this a very natural look.

This hearth looks very rustic with the greenery and the antler. What a neat idea of hanging the stockings down the antlers. The silver balls add a nice touch to the greenery.

Hang up a real wreath made from a live tree, they’re full of life, are fragrant and make great gifts. You can even challenge your creative side by making and decorating one yourself.  LINK
Live garland is perfect to decorate mantles and surfaces in your home. Fresh garland is vibrant and aromatic and will brighten up your home while making it smell like the holidays should.
Utilize pine-cones as a decoration. Aside from the sweet smell, they can be used to make many different decorations. Use them to create ornaments, to decorate garland or place in a glass bowl to make into a centerpiece. This year I used spray glue on the pine cones and sprinkled them with cinnamon, cloves, and allspice. They smell delicious! The warm tradition, joyful scent, and natural beauty simply cannot be matched!
Traditional English Recipes: Christmas Food

Mull some spices in a small pot on the back of the stove. I use a back burner and fill a small pot with water. I add Cinnamon Sticks, Apple Slices, Orange or Lemon Slices, and a pinch of allspice or Star Anise. It makes the house smell so nice and festive! Try it for yourself. Play around with the ingredients until you find the right combination for you!

Enjoy! And Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Enjoy!
