National Napping Day ~ March 12

Hubby & SaMi
Hi, Sweet Friends,

Did you know that the Monday after (March) Daylight Savings is called "Napping Day"? Well, I know my whole household took a nap on Monday, March 12th! How about you?

Daylight Savings Time is always a struggle. Your mind and body have to acclimate to the change of time and rewire the "alarm clock" in your head.

The week of the time change, in Spring, we go to bed an hour earlier and get up an hour earlier. For Fall, we don't really plan, we just take advantage of the extra hour in bed!

How about you?  Did you take a nap on Monday? Did the time change affect you?

Here is a little fact:
"The unofficial holiday can be dated back to 1999 when a Boston University professor, William Anthony, created the event, primarily to emphasize on the benefits of a quick nap."-National Napping day- IBTimes.com
Do you celebrate these "Unofficial Holidays"? We celebrate a few, but they are so fun that we may be starting to celebrate more! We did celebrate "National Pizza Day" this year, in February. LINK
Enjoy!
